My guesses of the cut players:
Booty
Johnson
One of Pemberton or Stenavich, likely Pemberton because he went to CSU.
Manieri
Sheppard
Parson
Outside guesses/prayers:
Dezmon Briscoe
Joique Bell

Not Johnson or Henry?
Assmass alone does not a NT make.
Nevermind, I need thicker glasses
Assmass alone does not a NT make.
Kubiak said don't be surprised if the Texans make 4 or 5 more moves
I wonder what he meant by that?
I suppose if all of the stars, moons and planets align it could be possible, but what are the chances of that?
Is he still in football?

Only if none of the UFL Teams sign him to play QB first.

Joique Bell would be an interesting surprise
Is Buffalo thinking he’s going to make their PS?

I'd guess that's the case.
If it’s not then they might be even dumber then they seem from the outside.

I'm too lazy to look it up
What are the rules on waivers and PS?

I ask because I see that Joique Bell has been signed to the Bills PS

Since you asked...
“a player under contract to a club as a Practice Squad player is completely free to sign a contract with another NFL club during the season in order to be on the second club’s Active/Inactive (i.e., 53 man) list. A practice squad player may not sign an NFL Player Contract with his Club’s next opponent later than 4:00 p.m., New York time, on the sixth day preceding the game (except in bye weeks, when the prohibition commences on the tenth day preceding the game). If another club signs a Practice Squad player to its 53 man roster it does not have to provide any sort of compensation to the player’s former club but it generally must keep the player on the 53 man roster for at least 3 weeks, thereby mandating that he earns in 2007 the minimum first year salary for said 3 week period ($285,000 prorated weekly).”
And...
Waivers
“When a team cuts a player with less than four years’ service in the NFL, which includes any player who could be assigned to a practice squad, that player doesn’t immediately become a free agent. He must go through the NFL’s waiver system, in which every other team gets a chance to “claim” him, assume his contract and add him to its 53-man roster. If no team claims the player, he becomes a free agent and is able to sign with any team. If another team does claim him, his original team has the right to pull him off waivers and keep him on the roster. So, to demote a player to the practice squad, a team must put him on waivers, then hope that he clears waivers, and then sign him to a practice-squad contract."
Practice squad...
If Booty doesn’t make the PS, or catch on with another team, something is wrong! Clearly outplayed Orlovsky the last game. I hope Schaub stays healthy! Because Orlovsky can not lead this team!!!
There's always Matt Leinart!

I think...
WR Bobby Williams
RB Jeremiah Johnson
OT Cole Pemberton
CB Mark Parson
S Torri Williams
DT Malcolm Sheppard
OT Steve Maneri
conceivably RB Gartrell Johnson
BFD??
I’m pulling for BFD to make the practice squad.

Pancakes says
The Texans filled out their 53-man roster on Sunday by claiming two players — Oakland linebacker David Nixon and Dallas cornerback Jamar Wall.

Sweet. David Nixon went to my high school.
I think he graduated the year before I got there, though.
Thanks, Eric!
The question on these guys is, are the PS or 53, depending on what kind of contracts are signed. I don’t think Nixon is eligible for the PS, though, after his service time last year. The CB makes sense from a positional standpoint, but the LB is a bit of a head-scratcher. I wonder what this means for Clark or doghouse patron Adibi.

the Texans are a “leading candidate to sign him.”

From what I can tell
Seahawks said no.
All the experts figure we are looking for a QB. Cause they are experts and they no these things.
Therefore, we are the number one candidate.
Have we actually had anything confirmed about any of this Leinhart talk?

Taking a step back and looking at this team...
How far have we come to be in a position to stash such incredible talent on IR and the practice squad. After next years draft can you even imagine the team we can put together? This is the year to get some playoff experience. Next year will be our Super Bowl year… unless there’s no trade agreement and they *&^% my plan all up.
