ESPN says your Houston Texans "have emerged as a leading candidate" to sign Matt Leinart. The Chronicle also says the Texans are interested.
Dan Orlovsky is your QB2 right now. Frightening as that might be, does adding Matt Leinart truly enhance your QB depth? Is he really an upgrade over Orlovsky and/or John David Booty (if the latter is brought back to the active roster or, more likely, the practice squad)?
