First I want to say thank you to Arian Foster, the Texans, and you fans. I am a member of the Pride of Detroit and we had a 20 team fantasy league. I drafted first overall and took Chris Johnson (who I would later trade for Ray Rice and Carson Palmer). With my next pick at 40th overall I drafted Arian. I was laughed at by everyone else in the draft room, which was about 10 other owners. Much to their surprise I just finished with the league title at 16-0. Foster was the biggest part of my team that also included Carson Palmer, Ray Rice, Mike Williams of Tampa, Antonio Gates for the first 13 weeks and Rob Gronkowski for the last 4, and the Steelers D. Arian won me a few games by himself.
As far as football I can share the pain you guys may be feeling after your 6-10 year. My Lions finished 6-10 as well, which seemed really hard after a 2-10 start. Things from my perspective look decent for you guys with your offense and you have a few solid players on defense. You guys are in a tough division so it won't be easy but it looks to me if you can keep everyone healthy you could make a run at the division. You caught Indy off guard to start the season and could do it again next year. Just think, if you are feeling down about your team, us fans in Michigan have had to deal with the worst management in history and wish that on nobody. We are just now pulling ourselves out of the deep hole that that GM put us in.
My point of all this is I see yor fan confidence is low but it could be worse. Again I would like to thank you fans, your team and Arian Foster for my great fantasy football run.
