Matt Leinart has never thrown more TDs than INTs in a single season of his career.

In 2006 Leinart completed a career best 11 touchdown season while posting his highest seasonal number of interceptions - 12. Following that season up in 2007 with a 2 TD and 4 Int effort and then a 1 TD and 1 Int outing in 2008. Finally the career death blow in Arizona's 2009 season, 0 TDs and 3 Ints.

With Leinart's QB history, would the Texans be best served making a call to Kyle Orton's agent as a precaution? There are a number of teams in the NFL that could use a veteran QB for insurance as of this week. Orton seems unlikely to stay unemployed for long. The Bears, Chiefs, and Dolphins could all use a QB security blanket at this point in their season. What about the Texans? Live or die with Leinart or prepare a plan B?
