Monday Night Football: Open Thread (Giants v. Saints)

We live in a world with very few certainties. I feel confident, however, that I can promise you that no Houston Texans quarterback will be injured during this evening's contest between the Giants and Saints. Should you wish to discuss this guarantee or Monday Night Football as it transpires, I hereby present you with a venue to do so.

Actually, it depends on what you read. One of my 1400 minors in college was Russian Lit. Lolita is ass, but there’s a ton of great stuff out there, especially turn of the 20th century lit. You just need to get past the crap and get to the And Quiet Flowed the Don and stuff like that.

Ugh

Is this worth a FanShot?

The Texans are working out free agent QBs Jeff Garcia and Jake Delhomme on Tuesday.

Right now they are clearly vying for the backup job behind rookie T.J. Yates, but if either of them can still play they make for somewhat compelling options. The Texans have a playoff-caliber team and need a game manager, and not a rookie learning on the job. Neither veteran signal-caller should be viewed as a savior to the Texans’ overall woes with Matt Schaub on I.R.

I just threw up in my own mouth.

His original neck surgery to repair the discs in his neck did not work correctly and there was lingering nerve damage which affected his throwing arm.

The second surgery to fuse the vertebrae were supposed to correct that. Now we’re waiting to see if it did.
