Looks like I may have been off by a game or two.

Just saying I'm not sure what's so impressive about him.
Sure his numbers look great since he throws 40 passes per game but I didn’t see the signature big win from him and he certainly didn’t perform as well as Newton did last year.
I felt like he won the Heisman almost by default because his stats were gaudier than Luck’s and there was no way the voters would dare give it to a defensive player in Tyrann Mathieu, who IMO was the best player in CFB this year but whatever.
Baylor was 9-3, got destroyed by Texas A@M and OSU and a last minute loss to Kansas ST. I just never saw what made RGIII any better than a guy like Keenum or other spread exclusive QB’s except the fact he played against somewhat better talent (even if the Big 12 is known for horrible defense).
Prediction: 11-5 AFC South champions.

I didn’t see a better player than RGIII, and I think he’ll be an outstanding NFL QB. Huge arm, great decision making, keeps his head upfield rather than tucking and running first, and he has the smarts and work ethic on top of that. The system helped, of course, but his physical and mental attributes will set him apart.

He’ll be a good #4/#5 if he sticks but we do need a new WR that’s going to last through training camp and contribute. Those two spots are really bare right now.

And as far as an Andre replacement
The Texans don’t need a superstar just a consistent WR with some deep threat. As long as they have good TE play the passing offense will excel.
Hell to be honest this offense doesn’t necessarily need an Andre caliber WR. It’s pretty damn nice to have one but not a need IMO.

I did it because I compete in Triathlons
and train scuba instructors. The unwanted hair often made it uncomfortable in wet suits and quick removal of equipment. The sex life benefits of hair removal were a positive side effect.

We Indycar fans are a little worried, though.
NBC doesn’t seem to give a damn about that series. Versus really put some effort into their race broadcasts, but NBC sort of acts like it doesn’t even exist.

Yes. And oddly enough, they handled it pretty well.
All things considering. That was definitely not what anyone expected.
But all that said and done: ESPN throws a lot more attention to NASCAR than Indycar. By far. While there are quite a few Indycar fans who are also NASCAR ones, there’s still a worry among all of us (myself included) that ABC/ESPN will treat Indycar not like a separate sport (sure, it’s racing, but it’s still different), but like a little brother to the big series. And the problem is, that’s one of the positive scenarios; the negative ones are that it’ll get the American LeMans (ALMS) series treatment and none of the races they have (save the obvious one) will be broadcast live, but only on delay.
Fans are also worried that NBC Sports could do the same thing, and they’ll have all the rest of the schedule.
No one knows. And that’s bugging a lot of fans, especially ones who’re blogging.
