Colts not So Luck-y
Should the Texans Lay down in Indy? A Texans loss, would help Indy out of the Number 1 overall selection. I know tanking on purpose is bad, but to take a golden opportunity away from the Colts. It has to be worth it ya?

No
We aren’t good enough to lay down for anyone and expect we can just ‘turn it on’ come playoff time. We need to establish rythym and good football again. Besides, it’s just completely unprofessional and disrespectful to the game. Just ask the 2010 Bengals.
I doubt
very little the Texans would lose, I just hate the fact that the Colts laid down the entire season.
I could only hope that a couple late season heart adjustments will push them out of the Luck pick.
Because either with them selecting Andrew Luck, or trading and benefiting form the amount of picks, the Colts get a huge boost. Both of the other bottom feeders are in the NFC where it wouldn’t effect the team 2 games a season. This is why I have floated the Idea

No.
I don’t think we should lay down for anyone.

What If it was better in the long run?
Not so much a lay down, but a deliberate attempt to sabotage a division rival?

One of them was Leaf
The other was some other guy out of Tennessee. Odd-looking fellow, big forehead. I forget his name.
Point is, I don’t want my football team playing to angle their way away from other players. I want them amped up at all times and trying to beat the shit out of everyone. Personally I don’t understand why you are so scared of Andrew Luck. All teams have good players. When Indy drafts him (and they will), I doubt Rick Smith is gonna say “were fucked, why are we even trying….”
Don't know how you concluded to Andrew Luck fear
I am just pointing out that the best QB prospect in the last 30 years is going to the team that just had arguably the best QB in NFL history for the last 12 seasons.
If our team had an opportunity to sabotage this set up, maybe they take that chance.
Because even if the Colts decided to trade that pick they would still benefit form the amount of selections they would receive. In the long run, hurting a division rival while you have an opportunity would be a smart move.

I just feel like we have had a similiar conversation about this.
I may be mistaken though. No offense was intended.
Either way, football is a game that you can’t half ass. These guys live for the chance to come out 16 times and year and blow shit up. I don’t wanna be the ‘when I was playing’ guy, but I’m just saying, this is a balls-out sport and the only speed is full speed.
I just don’t think football players lay down games. Their career is too short, they work too hard, and football players are a prideful, class A personality group. Maybe I’m naive…
DON'T DO IT!!!
we are getting luck….we actually clinch (pretty much) with a loss tonight. I will be cheering very hard for you guys.
