Jake Delhomme Is Your QB2
This presumably drops Kellen Clemens to QB4, behind Matt Schaub on crutches.

I hope this says more about delhomme’s abilities than clemen’s suckiness…

Interesting
I wonder what The Whisperer saw this week.
Or if that was his secret agenda planned in 2004.
Follow the invalid toad.
Jake had the edge with his experience I bet.
He picked up enough, quickly enough to make Kubiak feel more comfortable than he did with Clemens.
Oh well. In Yates I trust. Because I have no choice. He’s got the weapons and the potential to be Andy Dalton like.
Prediction: 11-5 AFC South champions.

should be praying to this god
“In Aztec mythology, Ixtlilton (The Little Black One) was the Mexican god of medicine and healing, and therefore was often alluded to as the brother of Macuilxochitl, the god of well-being or good luck.”

Big game
confidence wise.
If TJ plays poorly and we lose, this team may start to feel sorry for itself.
Regardless how TJ plays, if we win, this team could start to feel invincible.
Or maybe that will just be the reaction of the fanbase.

I don't think the team has any ill effects
If they are in the game for most of the game.
However, I am predicting a 32-6 victory for the Texans

Regardless of how TJ plays
If we win, we ARE invincible. If we win this week, I’ll be convinced that we’re Super Bowl bound.
yeah, baby...

I feel like if TJ falters, we'll be in good hands.
It feels like Delhomme should be capable of making the simple throws that Matt Shaub was making this season. He has been to the superbowl before, so we know he should be able to handle pressure. I think we’ll be fine.

Yah, but ESPN had one guy predict we upset the birds
and that Yates throws for 300 yds and 3 TDs

Good to have Dell-Homie at #2
because Yates will shatter his pelvis on our first possession, once again killing and rebirthing the process of getting over our worst fears and convincing ourselves that we’re still going to be OK.

Never paid enough attention to him to know.

anybody see trey wingo pick hou?
His “bold prediction” was; T.J. Yates throws for over 200 yrds, more TDs than INTs in a texans win. WOW!!!!! Now I’m really worried.
by HTown80 on Dec 3, 2011 1:19 AM CST via mobile reply actions
Lets hope...
I’d be happy to settle for more TD’s than incompletions by TJ…

Just read in PK's piece that the Falcons haven't allowed a 100 yd runner in 14 consecutive games...
how sweet to break that streak….pass to run…whisssperer….

I just looked on their site
They are just as worried as we are. They know this will be a tough game.
If everybody was somebody, then nobody would be anybody - Gilbert and Sullivan
Yes, they have a few injuries and with our defense, we could grind out a win
NFL Playbook talks about how they have replaced two of the O-line lately, which has meant a better running game and more time to pass.
They show a play with a two route pass, with eight people staying in to block. The 5 O-line, the TE, the RB and …. the slot receiver.

I wonder if Wade has enough film to identify their plays in that scheme and account for them.

if mcnabb would sign for a vet minimum
is mcnabb a better choice than Kellen Clemens?

Sure he would
He wouldn’t be good enough to win us games, but better than Clemens

And we care - why?
— Just because he was arrogantly talking during halftime on TNF basically doing an interview for a job with teh Texans?
