BRBAPALOOZA: Tomorrow Night!
The relevant details, this time before the ol' jumparoo:
WHAT: BRBAPALOOZA (Texans v. Colts).
WHEN: Thursday, December 22, 2011 (kickoff is at 7:20 p.m. CST, but get there earlier if you want to optimize your shot at a good seat).
WHERE: 360 Sports Lounge.
SPECIALS: $2.00 domestic drafts (yes, Shiner will be considered a domestic for those participating in BRBAPALOOZA), $3.00 wells, and happy hour prices for all appetizers on the menu (except for one appetizer, which will be served free of charge).
WHO: Texans fans. All of 'em.
BRB T-SHIRTS: If I can remember to bring 'em, they'll be available to purchase for $20.00.
PLUS: Should the mood strike you, we'll be taking donations to benefit Fisher House. Donations are in no way required, so don't let that keep you from attending.
A word about suggested arrival time and seating after the jump.
A lot of you have said you're coming, which is great. Even better, a handful of you have said you're bringing a sizable contingent of family or friends with you. This is also great. In an effort to ensure that we've got adequate seating for everyone who wants to come, our friends at 360 have agreed to block off a large section of real estate for our party. That courtesy will be extended until 6:30 p.m., at which time they'll start releasing any empty seats/tables in our section to the general public.
Having been to 360 for a Thursday night Texans game before, I would strongly suggest you don't waltz in five minutes before kickoff; the place will be full. Get there by 6:30 p.m. if possible, settle in, order some food and drinks, mingle, and bombard Rivers with questions about obscure game-charting data. Once the game starts and you see that every seat in the house is taken, you'll be glad you got there early.
If you've got any questions, leave 'em in the comments or shoot me an e-mail. Looking forward to seeing a bunch of familiar and new faces tomorrow night.

I wish we could hire coaches without "having grown up in Houston" being a job requirement.
I am there when....
….. I can escape the office.
I presume I can be there around 6:30. Hopefully that’s early enough. I hope.

Nice to know about the 6:30 deadline. Was afraid I’d have to hoof it over fight after work to get a seat. Don’t think I’ll be bringing anyone.

Tomorrow is Wifey's Birthday
And, even though she has never posted here, she elected to spend her birthday evening in the company of fellow Texan’s fans at 360. She has a fella from work and his wife attending as well.
Here is to an incredible evening!

Hope He Gets To Feeling Better Regardless
Looking forward to a day when being a Texans fan doesn't mean that April is the highlight of my season...
Thanks Tim
Not looking good for tonight at this point. He has been running a fever all day.
Going to 360 tonight was all my wife wanted for her birthday, but she completely put that out of her mind once the kiddo got sick.
Sorry, guys. Looks like I’ll have to meet you all another time. sigh
At this point my priority is my son. Somebody have a drink for me, lol.

Going through it too.

My wife is really susceptible to strep. Usually gets it once or twice a year.
I hope y’all feel better soon!

Cloudy with snow likely in the morning…then partly sunny with a chance of snow in the afternoon. Highs 25 to 35. Chance of snow 60 percent.
THURSDAY NIGHT
Partly cloudy. Lows zero to 10 above. WTF

Still looks like a go for me and gf.
Thanks for the warning about 6:30. You just solidified my plan to drive all night and get some sleep tomorrow afternoon so I can get there between 6 and 6:30.
Funny side story to this…..I coulda sworn I told the gf (who is a Manning fan, she readily admits this) that this was going to coincide with the Texans Thursday night game with the Colts. Well on either Monday or Tuesday, I come home at lunch time to glares and shit being thrown around. I politely ask “What’s wrong sweetie?” To which she replies “YOU DIDN’T FUCKING TELL ME THIS WAS THE COLTS GAME!!!!!!” She still is planning to attend, but may be madder than a bear just up from hibernation…..so please don’t poke the bear. lulz I have to go home with her.

Welcome To BRB
Look forward to meeting you this evening.
Looking forward to a day when being a Texans fan doesn't mean that April is the highlight of my season...
I should be there
Though I feel sort of lame how I’m rolling up there solo but everybody coming at least 2 deep. Oh well. A Texans win around Texans fans is all I’m looking for.

I'll be there.
The wife had originally planned to come, but I think she came to her senses and is just going to take advantage of free time to play Skyrim for 4 hours.
But me? You had me at $2 Shiner. I should be there a little early throwing them back with Doobieman.
Hey Tim,
Originally RSVP’d for 2, but I might bring 2 more (for 4). I s that cool? We’ll get there early. I’m so excited!!!
