Ok, so I have mulled over it, slept on it, and even sat down with a trusted adviser about it. As a 10 yr Texans fan, a 28 yr Football fan, Yesterdays game pisses me the eff off! I don't have the liberty of going back and watching the game. I don't know if I could sit through it one more time. I was IRATE throughout the second half. And you know what I didnt see it much as players not performing (though there was some of that which I will get to later).
So follow me for why my mind exploded after the jump

There were three things I saw yesterday while I was watching the game that made me want to punt a small animal through a even smaller hole!

First was the abysmal officiating. I know what you are all thinking, Joe you are always complaining about the zebras! Have you watched our games this year? Remember the steelers game with the bullshit Roughing the passer on Ben Roethlisberger in the end zone? or the fumble that was not really a fumble a couple weeks ago? or the fact they let Garcon go with a huge offensive PI last night but the next play call a holding on Joseph? I have made a few jokes about play two teams every week but damn it sure feels like it. Eric Winston gets called for what is a legitimate holding, while almost every play Brooks Reed and Connor Barwin are blowing by the Tackles so fast that Indy's line has to commit holding penalties, but very few are called. Glover Quin's PI at the end of the game a) should have never happened, b) was as much as a PI as Garcon's uncalled one from earlier in the game. The Roughing the passer on the last drive was such crap every replay the announcers ask how is that Roughing the passer? Oh btw Refs I love how you could see JJ Watts second or two of hand in the face but you cant see any of the other penalties being committed at the same time by the Colts. One thing I have noticed everytime we have played the colts in the history of our team, Houston has committed 2-3 times as many penalties, I dont know why but I do think there is some shady stuff that is going on.

Second; Coach Kubiak I have been one of the minority who has wanted to wait you out. You have shown that with a competent DC you can win games. I am tired of settling for FGs. [I have found my anger at what used to be here as stupid so I removed it. I am now ok with the conservative play callin just tired of all the damn FGs] Part 2 of the second point, Wade Phillips is a key component of our team. I am glad he will be back next week, Why do I have to wait 10 days till the next game?

Third; Caldwell was getting manhandled last night, Kareem was Kareem, Allen had a cushion on Wayne that allowed Wayne to make a quick move and come back for the ball without anyone to contest it. Arian put another ball on the ground. I know it is almost 1% of his carries he has dropped the ball but other than the dropped pass ruled as a fumble he has fumbled more than he has ever since being with the Texans and I was sad to see another fumble. [new note Arians last two legitimate fumbles have been by good deffensive plays punching at the ball]

In conclusion, I am mad at the world but it will pass. The Texans are still in the playoffs and I am happy about that! When can we get a break man that is all I want. On to looking forward, to the BE-SFs!
