Around SBN: NFL Players Ready To Welcome Gay Teammate

Christmas Eve Football: Open Thread

There's a full slate of games this afternoon, starting at noon CST. Leave any comments you might have about said games here.

No, I am still not ready to talk about Thursday night's debacle. I will try, however, to get a post about it up before tomorrow morning. Probably tonight, after my son is asleep, all of the whiskey is gone, and while I'm waiting for Santa to stage his annual home invasion.

Not that I give a shit about at this point

My only concern was the Texans’ playoff seeding, so now that that’s out the window, time to enjoy the holiday with family. Merry Christmas, BRB peeps!

I’m not going to grace the Nielson ratings for the NFL till they fix the Officiating problem. I’m only going to watch Texans games. the rest I’ll just keep up with on the internet.

Mine was bestowed on me by our OC in high school. I had long blonde hair ala Tom Petty before leaving on summer break. Wound up getting a perm on a trip to W. DC, in the ground floor mall of an apartment complex. the hairdoo was inspired by seeing the Allman Brothers at Wolftrap.I was also a huge WHo fan at the time.

I figured I would have calmed down by now but thats not the case. Hope Kubes is just holding back for the playoffs thats the only conclusion I could come up with for the way the game was coached.

if you look at the last two weeks that's what it seems like as least to me.

they are just doing the bare minimum in hopes that it will allow them to leave a game without injuries. it sucks but once the playoffs start its a whole new season. hopefully we will win at least one game if we get bounced. i believe in this team. gotta keep battling. we can win this game.

Awesome.

Never use a metaphor, simile, or other figure of speech which you are used to seeing in print.
Never use a long word where a short one will do.
If it is possible to cut a word out, always cut it out.
Never use the passive where you can use the active.
Never use a foreign phrase, a scientific word, or a jargon word if you can think of an everyday English equivalent.
Break any of these rules sooner than say anything outright barbarous.

So if Cincy Loses to the Ravens next week

Houston could wind up playing either Oakland, Denver, Jests, or BESF’s?

by SuperSerial on Dec 24, 2011 6:45 PM CST reply actions

Unless we eliminate the BESFs first.

Well, I know the remaining 4 depends on several factors

but Cincy must lose for any of them to have a chance, correct?

From Yahoo!

6. Cincinnati Bengals (9-6)
Would clinch a playoff berth with a Week 17 win but have the worst strength of victory (44-90) of any team that could finish 9-7.
Next: vs. BAL (Jan. 1)

IN THE HUNT

7. Oakland Raiders (8-7)
Lead the Jets and Titans for the No. 7 seed due to better strength of victory (52-65 vs. 47-71 and 45-75, respectively). Would clinch the West and No. 4 seed with a Week 17 win and a Broncos Week 17 loss. Also could clinch playoff berth with a win and a Bengals loss, but not if both Titans win and Jets lose.
Next: vs. SD (Jan. 1)

8. New York Jets (8-7)
Lead the Titans for the No. 8 seed due to better strength of victory (47-71 vs. 45-75).
Next: at MIA (Jan. 1)

9. Tennessee Titans (8-7)
Would clinch a playoff berth with a win and Bengals loss and Raiders win and Jets loss due to a better record in common games (4-1 vs. 3-2).
Next: at HOU (Jan. 1)

I kinda think my little sister just flipped the fuck out just because she hadn't been the center of attention yet tonight.

She rode back in the passenger seat from may Aunt/Uncles wear we had Xmas dinner. I step out, close the door and she starts screaming about being stuck. I one the door and she starts yelling at me more. I have no idea how her arm could have gotten pinched but I want to believe a 17 year old wouldn’t make a scene just because she hasn’t gotten much attention tonight.

she’s drank with her friends, she’s ceded the high ground there.

this is really getting to me

either I accidentally hurt me little sister or she was being disgustingly manipulative.
