I mean, you can’t still doubt this defense. I mean, it’s week 13 and they’re #1. I mean, that’s pretty awesome. I mean, I’ll let the interview jitters slide, because GQ is a beast on the field. His last two games might have been the best two performances by a Texans’ safety in franchise history. He’s blowing up blockers, bring down RBs at a dead stop, and covering as well as any safety in the game.

We knew he was a good football player last year at CB, but his development at safety throughout the season is one of the major reasons this defense has gotten better and better despite losing Mario and Manning for most of the season.
