Around SBN: Win or Lose, Boston Celtics' New Big 3 Era A Success

"Andre, first off ya’ll know it is the other leg. It is a mild hamstring, so we’re very fortunate. I’ll tell you today he’s day-to-day. I probably can give you a better answer once we give him a couple days here and get to Wednesday, but we do expect him back and hopefully sooner than later. To answer today, we feel very fortunate."

I knew it wasn't as bad as the injury against Pit based on the fact he pulled up

Instead of just hitting the ground. Still I won’t be completely happy until he is back on the field catching 50 yd bombs.

Andre looked like an old man pulling up out there

I hope that is the last time I see that…

day to day

It seems like with AJ Kubiak always strings it along. It could be 4 weeks for sure, and I feel like he’d say, “Well, I’ll know more on Thursday.”

Maybe he believes AJ has superpowers or something.

Yates - our current game manager.

My concern is that it took him out of the game...

I struggle to think that he’d be ready in a week. I hope that they take whatever time they need to have him 100% by playoff time. I think we can win what we need to between now and then to qualify and I’d hate to see him rush back and pop one of those banjo stings again.

I'm pretty sure at this poine we're gonna save him for the playoffs.

At the same time, looking back at his leaping grab in the 1st for one of Yates passes, he had quite a bit of explosion going that high. I can’t help but think that his right hamstring is fine and that his left one is going to be fine. Its like breaking them and then making them stronger or something!
