Top draft prospects per Postion (QB Link Added)
So here a couple links over from nfl.com that have their Top prospects at each postion. Lets have some discussion on which players the Texans might be interested in.
Barring any crazy circumstance, I don't see the Texans taking any quarterbacks, but these are some of my favorites from the names provided.
Cyrus Gray, Texas A&M, RB (5-10, 212)
Zach Brown, North Carolina, OLB (6-2, 248)
Dontari Poe, Memphis, DT (6-3, 330)
Chase Minnifield, Virginia, CB (6-0, 185)
Ricky Wagner*, Wisconsin, OT (6'6, 320)
Dwight Jones, North Carolina, WR (6-4, 225)
Robert Griffin III*, Baylor (6-2, 220
Grey seems like a natural fit with Sherman's scheme. Yates to Jones sounds like an intriguing posiblilty. Wagner would be a great steal in the middle rounds, grow right into Wintons RT possition. Poe sounds like an interesting prosepect for NT big strong guy projected to be a 3-4 guy prehaps a 3-4 round would be a great pick up.
I know this would normally be a time we take interest in draft stocks, but this weekend is huge in our playoff race.
Playoff race just rolls off the fingers.
