It's Official: Andre Johnson is the Top NFL Wide Receiver
Confirming what we all know, eight writers for ESPN, including a familiar name, Paul Kuharsky, put their power rankings together and published who their top Wide Receivers in the game are. Kuharsky, whose vote is not without some controversy, ranked AJ 1st, but ranked Larry Fitzgerald 9th. If Kuharsky had ranked Fitzgerald 5th, it would have moved Fitzgerald to the top spot. Thank you, Paul. (There's a video of Paul's rationale for his decision down the page)
Rounding out the top five are Fitzgerald in 2nd, Roddy White 3rd, Calvin Johnson 4th and Reggie Wayne 5th. Where was Miles Austin? Not in the top ten. Austin was 15th.
So, check out the link for the whole story. It's a lot of reading. Keep scrolling to eventually get to the results of the voting.
Congratulations Houston Texans Andre Johnson!

Yea...
Kuharsky intentionally handed that one to him. Also, the fact that Brandon Lloyd is on that list makes it null and void. One good year out of three does not a top-ten receiver make.
Wayne is to far back.
I hate the Colts but Wayne should be ranked ahead of at least Roddy and Calvin. And yah another offseason award I can’t seem to feel happy about.
Personally I think he's a tad overrated
Peyton makes him look good. Imagine what Calvin Johnson could do in that offense.
I wish we could hire coaches without "having grown up in Houston" being a job requirement.
I think Reggie Wayne is virtually a possession receiver at this point in his career
But, he just may be the best possession receiver.
I didn't do anything wrong!.... and, I won't do it again.
One bloggers reasoning for putting Andre 6th
“But the reason I went with White was because… I went off success of teams when I filled out my ballot. Sorry, but another mediocre Houston season really didn’t excite me”
facepalm
Yikes, idiot.

Wow
That one guy had Lloyd 2nd and Andre 6th. He should probably kill himself.
Putting him 6th for Texans lack of success is pretty ignorant. Does he want Andre to play defense? What a f#%king douche.
Alright, I’m officially fired up!

not to mention that if he goes about success then Brandon should be way low cause denver sucks

I think each of the eight writers who voted cover a certain NFL Conference
for instance Kuharsky is the AFC South guy. Not sure about the other guy who put Lloyd 2nd. My guess is that he’s a AFC West guy.

It was actually the NFC South blogger
which makes it even more confusing
Really?
Some of those guys have no clue. Maybe they didn’t watch football or something.
I am totally optimistic about the Texans new season - at least until the first of the 4 or 2 (if any) preseason games
