So I noticed we have another lovely Comcast post on BRB. Look. I get it. This is a blog with corporate sponsors, the money has to come from somewhere. That being said, these Comcast posts are crap!
First off, there isn't word one in the recent article about our beloved Houston Texans, so why the hell is it wasting perfectly good space on the main page AND driving other, more relevant and interesting, articles below the fold (does a blog have a fold)?I mean wasn't the whole driving force behind SBN that each team gets the coverage that national media sources can't be bothered to write about? I mean it's bad enough that the four lettered network would cut to commercial every single time our pick came up, but now we have to be force-fed articles that have no significance to our team? I don't need to see national media figures slobbering on Bill Belichick's knob despite picking like he was on LSD, or possessed by Matt Millen, especially on a site that has nothing to do with the Patriots!
To add further insult, I can't even bloody comment on these things?! Nice way to get dialogue going, there, bucko. I mean, I can't imagine what I would have to say about Atlanta's jump in the first round since I don't care about Atlanta, and Mike Kerns could say it a damn sight better than I could, but I would at least like the opportunity to do so.
So thanks for paying our authors because they damn well deserve it for the content they post and the dialogue they inspire, but really, Comcast, screw off. At best these articles they post are a mild nuisance, and at worst, antithetical to everything SBN stands for...or I should say stood for.
