Matt Schaub is the Most Injury-Prone Player in the NFL?

Steve Smith (Panthers), Brandon Jacobs, DeAngelo Williams, Joseph Addai, Tom Brady, Reggie Bush, and even Bob Sanders are all less injury-prone compared to Matt Schaub, according to the scientific findings of FoxSports.com's Sid Saraf. Saraf fails to be objective, as Schaub has played in more games in the last four seasons than all of the runner-ups. Not only that, but Schaub, who's injuries were listed as concussion, shoulder separation, and knee problems has played in all 16 games each of the past two seasons. He missed only five in 2007 and five in 2008. Shouldn't this talk about Schaub being so breakable be in the past? Bob Sanders, on the other hand has never played a full 16 game season and over the last three seasons he has played in 6, 2 and 1 games. Reggie Bust? He is ranked 2nd having played 16 games just once in five seasons, his first season. Joseph Addai has missed games due to injury in 4 of 5 seasons, having missed 8 games last season. I think Saraf's opinion was colored a couple seasons ago and this list needs to be rearranged. A guy who has managed to play in all his games the last two seasons, won a Pro Bowl MVP award, and thrown for 4,000+ yards twice is not deserving of this injury-prone label anymore.

I second this.

if some douchebag sitting in an office wants to talk about something other than the lockout, i’m all for it, but it certainly doesn’t change the obvious fact that he has nothing to actually say.

I'm looking forward to bigger and better things from the Texans this year... I've decided to start fresh and refocus on the things that matter... thats right... I speak of SKIN BLEACH! no need to burn your throat.. it can't feel it anymore anyways! apply directly to the skin or eyes and let the mind blowing pain steal your focus from the disaster on the field!

Who needs facts.....

….when you have an opinion?

I can blather all day about how great the Astros are, but that hardly means they don’t suck.

Wow

That is a terrible piece. I’d love to let him know, but I don’t care enough to register for the site.

Thanks for bringing it to light and making me angry though….I think?

I'd like to know what the determining factors are

She doesn’t explain how it is worked out.

Brady was out for 15 games (15/64). Schaub for 10 games (10/64). It makes no sense.

Stafford is injured way more often

Probably more than anyone not named Bob Sanders

I would go looting, but those that have been raptured have nothing that I want.

But at least Stafford can make plays while injured

I think so too, but only if Stafford can stay healthy

AJ wrote a column on this today

This is, absolutely, one of the most poorly researched articles I think I’ve ever seen.

A Texans fan. Really. No, I'm not kidding.

YOU CAN'T DOUBT FOXSPORTSNEWS

You’re crazy!

I have no idea who Sid Saraf is

Therefore his opinion means shit

I'm a man!! I'm forty!!

Apparently Sid Saraf decided to write an article

After having done zero research. Just because there is no football news, it doesn’t mean you have to make it up.

Rankings of any type

Need to be limited to the last two or three seasons for relevance. The average career is less than five years, measuring more than half of that is ludicrous. Teh Schaub has done extremely well at staying healthy, and doing everything possible on his side of the ball to win games (sans the pick six vs Ravens, but I put that on teh Gary).

Must be a slow day to be writing this crap. This guy needs to find a squirrel race to write about.

This is the most un-informed title I've ever read.

Your a Texan’s fan, have you never heard of the division rival colt’s Bob Sanders? Of course not, he hasn’t played the last 2 years, and he has missed a bunch of games before that too.

by RamblinWreck7 on Jun 1, 2011 12:27 AM CDT reply actions

Oh...

Your title was a question. But Bob Sanders is the most injured player in the history of ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
