Wade Phillips' thinly veiled jab at Texans' scouting department

In a post over at the National Football Post, here is what Wade said when talking about Kareem Jackson:

"I think technique-wise he needs a lot of work," Phillips said. "I guess he was able to play at Alabama without a lot of technique without worrying about staying low enough or moving his feet, those kinds of things. I think that caught up with him. I think we can coach him. We'll drill him enough that we'll go over and over and over."

I get the distinct impression that Wade and his Cowboy's staff probably didn't even have a second-round grade on KJax when he came out.  I also get the impression that Wade thinks Texans scouting and management was stupid when it came to this pick.

No huge revelation to the faithful, especially after suffering from KJax's first year.  Still, interesting to hear such relatively harsh words from a generally nice, "aww shucks" kinda guy.
