BRB Madden Tournament:  Update

In light of the response we got to this post, we've decided to tweak the First Annual BRB Madden Tournament. How we're tweaking it awaits your perusal beyond the jump.

Upon further consideration, I'm not so sure we need to spread the tournament out over two weekends. Thus, we're going to limit it to a single day. It'll be on August 6th only, so don't worry about playing this Saturday. We're going to do the entire thing on Saturday, August 6th.

There were also some people concerned about what they perceived to be an inconvenient start time at noon. Never let it be said we ignore complaints here, so we're adjusting that as well. The new start time will be at 2 p.m. CDT instead of noon.

So, with those changes, the new relevant information:

WHAT: BRB Madden Tournament.

WHEN: Saturday, August 6, 2011 at 2 p.m. CDT.

WHERE: 360 Sports Lounge, located at 4601 Washington Ave., Suite 150, Houston, TX 77007.

HOW: Xbox 360 (there will be three consoles set up to play on the big screens at the bar, plus those who cannot be in attendance are welcome to play online via Xbox Live).

Other questions answered:

Q: WILL THERE BE BRB T-SHIRTS FOR SALE?
A: Yes. They're red. Battle Red, even.

Q: WHAT IF I DON'T WANT TO PLAY MADDEN BUT STILL WANT TO HANG OUT WITH VARIOUS STRANGERS FROM THE INTERNET?
A: Come on out anyway. There will be candy, food, vans, drinks, t-shirts, and what is almost sure to be incessant whining discussion about your Houston Texans. It'll be fun, even if you're not going to play in the tournament.

Now I have some questions for you:

1. Will you be at 360 on Saturday, August 6th at 2 p.m. CDT?

2. If your answer to Question No. 1 is "yes," will you be participating in the Madden Tournament at 360?

3. If your answer to Question No. 1 is "no," will you be participating in the Madden Tournament via Xbox Live?

4. If your answer to Question No. 1 is "yes," are you interested in purchasing the inaugural BRB t-shirt?
