VY Press Conference, hilarity ensues
So, who caught the VY press conference? Some of our local media have been having their fun with him on twitter for saying he was part of a "dream team," asking if he is serving the Christian Laettner role on the bench and such.
I also thought it was pretty damn funny when he said he was a "work in product." Score one for the Wonderlic.
But, more than anything, what struck me was how overweight he looks--just in the face. I'd guess 25 pounds overweight. Not good for a scrambling QB, though maybe it will force him to become a pocket passer. Riiiiight. . . . .

I wonder
So, now that VY is in Philly on his “Dream Team,” will all the VY fanbois, who never knew the BE-SFs even existed before they drafted VY, change their loyalties to Philly? I’m thinking specifically of people like SuperHorn, whose entire raison d’etre on MCM was because VY was a BE-SF.
I do wonder.

kudos to you
for separating your college allegiance and the Texans.
VYFBs suck.
the tenth time is a charm
What frightens me is this
VY fanbois are about to cross-breed with a fanbase that is known for booing Santa Claus, throwing batteries at players and cheering when players are carted off on a stretcher with a serious neck injury.
In other words, what’s going to happen when stupid fans meet psychotic ones?

I love this:
“I mean, you got guys like Nnamdi, Mike, Asante, DeSean, and myself, that’s a dream team.”
Not the exact quote, but that is fucking hilarious how he adds himself in that.
He’ll be lucky to see the field for at least 2 or 3 plays per game.
And I thought he couldn’t get more arrogant….

He thinks his feelings got hurt in Tackville...
Wait until Philly fans get a hold of him. He will commit suicide for real.
I can’t believe he put his name in the same sentence with those other players. He’ll be handing them water bottles when the season starts.

^^^That right there.
If he can’t handle Tennessee fans, he’s going to turn into have a real hard time with Iggles fans.

I guess he should lay off the sides and stick to the protein
obviously he’s been spending too much time at the VYgina steak house. Who’d have thought in a million years he would have been focused on something other than his burgeoning football career this offseason? Lay off the potatos, dumbass.
I’ve never been much of a VY fan, even when he was the hometown guy. He’s never been accurate on his passes at all, maturity issues, and just down right a bad overall quarterback. I feel sorry for Philadelphia fans because when(not if) Michael Vick gets injured, there’s no true quarterback.
I’ll get torn apart for saying it, but of all the quarterbacks that came out that year, Jay Cutler has to be no. 1

I cant call myself a VY fan
these days. But bfd, as an ATX resident, if you were there when e won that Rose Bowl and partied like it was 1999 that night, you just CANT hate him. I think its proven that we made the right choice in that draft, seeing as VY and RB are barely clinging to NFL careers, at this point I can understand hating the “fanbois” but I love Austin and he did great things for that city when he was there that I just cant forget.

True
But the day he went to the BE-SFs, he was dead to me. Truly. It’s like his entire athletic career ended on draft day. I still watch those two Rose Bowls 3-5 times a year each.
