Saturday's BRB Madden Tournament: We Need To Set Up Brackets, Plus Additional Details

Where will you be this Saturday at 2 p.m. CDT? There are only two acceptable answers to that question: (1) At 360 Sports Lounge or (2) for those who don't live in Houston, at home, logged in to Xbox Live, ready to play in the first annual BRB Madden Tournament. Now that we're a mere three days away from the event, we need to set up brackets for the tournament. Jump with me, won't you? Even if you're not planning on playing in the Tournament, there are some new additional details that might increase your desire to be at 360 on Saturday at 2 p.m. CDT.

If you're interested in competing in the Tournament, please let us know in the Comments (1) whether you'll be at 360, ready to go or (2) what your Xbox Live ID/tag is. 360 will be setting up an account on Xbox Live, which I presume is what we'll operate the entire contest through. Once we have the names/IDs of all those who'll participate, we'll set up a bracket so we can figure out who's playing who.

Remember: Even if you have no desire to play Madden, you can (and should) come out to 360 anyway. There will be (a) BRBers, (b) good food, (c) drink specials (courtesy of 360 and Silver Eagle Distributors), (d) a possible appearance from the Bud Light Girls, (e) the opportunity to purchase the long awaited first official BRB t-shirt, and, best of all, (f) a portion of the money you spend will benefit Matt Schaub's GR8 Hope Foundation.

Bring your friends. Bring your family. It'll be a good time, or BFD will personally refund your August subscription fee for BRB.

I dont have an xbox, so Ill have to use someone else’s gamer tag. I live within walking distance, so Ill get drunk and then walk over. I request to play tim/bfd first, as to make sure I reach the second round. I might even roll with the rams…

Directly through the charity page’s website.

In terms of t-shirts, I’m not sure. There’s a good chance we have a BRB watch party for Texans-Niners at 360 on August 27th; if we have any extra shirts that haven’t been sold, I’ll gladly peddle them there. Or, if we run out of the shirts I’ve already ordered and there’s still interest, I would consider ordering more in time for the watch party on the 27th.

Picture a red t-shirt with the BRB logo in white and blue on the front and nothing on the back. That’s the shirt.

We had a bunch of great ideas that would’ve incorporated some of the stuff we’ve had here (like your graphs), but ultimately, it would’ve been too complex and too expensive to do. We went simple.
