Just what is Arian Foster doing right now….

I didn't do anything wrong!.... and, I won't do it again.

That's a little too much hero worship for me bro...

I'd never heard of this artist before

It seemed so out of place for an NFL locker room that I had to check it out.

It’s actually pretty catchy, IMO.

Hmmmm...

Wasn’t she on the ESPYS this year or the last, can’t remember

Seems to me they should just let him rest.

If it’s coming down to the wire like this I don’t think it’s worth it. It’s not a serious injury, but we don’t want a repeat of Andre’s situation from last year. Just like ‘Dre, I’m sure Foster could still be effective while injured, but I’d rather have him 100% for 15 games than 90% for 16.

I say you start Ward...

And if the two of them can’t get it done, then you bring in Foster…or better yet, bring in Foster for a few carries in the 4th if we’re blowing them out…or just sit him…I don’t know. Plenty of options though. The BEST probably just to sit him, win or lose.

by Peckerwood on Sep 10, 2011 3:57 PM CDT up reply actions

I’ve got him on my fantasy team, but I still say sit him this week. I think we can handle the colts this week with Ward and Tate has the premier backs, just to make sure we don’t waste Foster on a “pointless” play.

by Mr. Robie on Sep 10, 2011 6:35 PM CDT up reply actions

Please help!!!

Who do i play in fantasy?
Foster, ward, tate or lynch!?

Im also playing wells and Dmc.

Im playing against Drew Brees first game, so there is little margin for error.

Since this is an Arian Foster-centric FF question, I say,

You are on the wrong blog for that answer. I only want to see Arian be well.

I didn't do anything wrong!.... and, I won't do it again.

Chill. I live in SA but wanted houston fan prespective. I want Foster to win, go to the playoffs, and foster to be healthy. I didnt impede his health by asking and this is a blog to discuss the Texans isnt it? They will be posting fantasy stats at reliant this year.

Whether you like it or not, fantasy and nfl are joined at the hip now.

Ward Will Start If Foster Can't Go

But I think Tate has the better chance of posting bigger numbers tomorrow.

With all the uncertainty, I’d probably lean Marshawn Lynch in your situation. You know he’s gonna start.

Looking forward to a day when being a Texans fan doesn't mean that April is the highlight of my season...

Thats what im thinking

Every time a Cowboy hates, an Eagle gets his wings.

by Spurs Yoda on Sep 10, 2011 1:09 PM CDT via mobile up reply actions

Seriously

Definitely not Marshawn Lynch. The Seattle O-line is in shambles. Robert Gallery is out and he is being replaced by a guy that normally plays on the right side and is converting to the left. Russell Okung is coming off a sprained left ankle. Lynch is not the kind of back that will create on his own. Against San Fran, it will be a long day for him. The Niners will be keying on stopping the Seahawks run game. Out of the players you have listed, I advise strongly to go with Ben Tate and I’m making that recommendation on the expectation that Foster will be held out, because he’s a person first and a fantasy player second and that’s where the team’s concern should be.

Its a really hard decision

by Spurs Yoda on Sep 10, 2011 1:15 PM CDT via mobile up reply actions

It shouldn't be. BTW, I am a good FF manage. Go with Tate.

Ive been playing for 14years. Its tuff. Ive won 7 out of 14. Im nervous with ward and slaton. Only coach k knows not us

If Foster is out, Tate will have a breakout game, believe me

The Texans passing game is on, but they will run the ball and whether its Foster or its Tate, they will give Indy a fair dose of the run game. In the second half look for Tate to get the majority of the carries as he has his breakout game and rolls up the yards and gets at least one TD.

Unless ward takes his time to shine. Its risky but i will give it some thought. Thanks

I agree...

I think Ward has what it takes to be a feature back. As Kubiak said, if Ward is playing well and wants to stay in the game, he stays in the game. I can’t see him getting shut down, so being that he’s starting, I would guess that he would get the lion’s share of the carries. Tate is a big play waiting to happen though…and Foster still might play. LMAO … hope that helped. It’s because I hate the Spurs… :D

The Niners defense has a ton of new starters

It’s not as stout as it has been

Lynch’s the safe bet…..Tate’s the gambler’s choice

Me? I’d have Tate starting but closely monitor the newsfeeds til the last possible second on Arian news.

i pulled a daring move..

Benched Foster for Sproles before Thursday game.. got a cool 20 points from it. If Fosters good to go, ill just replace my other starter with him. Win-win.

That's my plan.

Canal Street Chronicles-A place of great Saints news and information. Oh and the stuff I write!
Bring back Aaron Brooks! He's the only one who can save us from the evil that is Drew Brees!!

They should rest Foster

at least the next two weeks and get him fully healed. We have enough solid RB’s and should make smart use of them. It’s post season or die this year, so do the smart thing here!

I agree...

Which means Foster should get about 20 carries tomorrow… DOH!
