Battle Red Radio: The Glass Ceiling (9 PM CT)
The Texans have often had high moments in franchise history: a good few games put together, a rare winning streak here or there. They have never been three games over .500, which is exactly where they can be if they defeat the Saints in the Superdome on Sunday.
Joining me to discuss the particulars of this here game, at 9 p.m. CT, will be Tim, founder and editor of the Battle Red Blog, and Chris of Houston Diehards, who has become our most frequent guest that has ever guested with his second appearance. It's almost like he should actually write here or something.
Leave your questions in the comments or over here. This week we are going to (for the first time) attempt to take a few phone calls during the show. If you listen to the show, I will read the call-in number on air at some point. That is your signal to jam the phone lines and become immortalized as part of a radio segment that tens of people will listen to.
Here's a direct link to the show if the embed below doesn't let you listen to it live. While you wait, you can catch up on last week's show, which for the second straight week, featured a flushing toilet.

The Good Looking One
Looking forward to a day when being a Texans fan doesn't mean that April is the highlight of my season...
The voice man, not the looks!
I did come in 19 minutes late so if you left I may have missed you.
.................
I'm headed to bed, but my 'am I am' is thinking of Walker......
.
I have never been much for watching TV, but I really like, “Walker, Texas Ranger”
.
Its all in re-runs as I watch it…..but I really like it.
.
funny me
.

Guardian of the Gate to La La Land!
Gonsoulin, Taylor, Wright, Gradishar, Atwater, and Davis.....
Why are they not in the Hall...I just don't understand.
Not really a question
as much as a topic of discussion. The “new” two-back system in NFL. More and more teams utilizing it. We have Arian Foster and Ben Tate. Ben Tate looks for reals. Foster, what little we’ve seen, as looked like last year wasn’t really a fluke. They both have the skills. The question to me is, are they both so good that we’re going to be able to afford them both come next year? Foster is making chump change, but without another Slaton-esque meltdown, he’s going to get paid next year. Some serious money issues going to be coming to a head at the end of this year. Especially considering our new defensive experiment, if it’s as successful as we hope, a lot of guys on that side of the ball going to want raises also.

It will work itself out
Tate’s a second round pick, so he’ll be cheap for another year or two. I think Foster will be a restricted free agent next year, so we can always tender him if we can’t work out an agreement. Holdouts from either one can mess all that up though.
RB salaries are generally cheaper than other high visibility positions because teams just aren’t very willing to invest big money long term. The flip side of that is RB’s know they have a short shelf life and have to get their money as soon as they can.
I’m just not worried about it yet. After the 2012 season it could be an issue, but there is so much that can happen between then and now that it is not worth worrying about yet.

I don't know what you believe but I do know there's no doubt
I need another double shot of something 90 proof
I got too much to think about
?
Would the use of Ben Tate be a short term affect to keep Foster from running his contract threw the roof? +/- 10 Total Sacks this weekend? Someone will have to comment if they use either of these questions. The link isn’t linking.
Apparently, bleach has an act like an asshole effect.
Being Insane I would know, I am a Texans Fan.
Wade Aid pass it around, 3rd helping on the way.
That's strange.
The link worked fine for me on all my tests. The embed did not. That’s why I throw the link up there.

Big 12 fans knew of Thomas....
He can be a decent NFL back, big kid who runs hard.

Rogers and Franklin haven't been that good...maybe Jon would disagree, but I haven't seen them been as great as I thought
In fact, as a 49er fan, I’m not too sad about missing Franklin given the play this season compared to his replacement.

Awesome.
