The Time for Tight Ends (and various FB/Hback/Motion guys) to Shine

Ok, now our beloved Texans will roll into the infamous Superdome.  Home of the one time Super Bowl Winning New Orleans Saints.

Some people are all concerned about running game(s) both for and against the Texans this coming Sunday.  We were all thinking that the Texans were going to unleash the Kubiakesque TE attack upon the mammalian counterparts in Miami.

Follow me for a small bit after the jump!

Most of you guys (and gals) around here know that I was tooting the Casey as starting FB horn for a long time.  I am taking no credit for anyting, other than seeing that Casey is a talented athlete that could be used as a great offensive weapon.

Why was he not used more in the Miami game?  I do not have the answer.  Maybe Kubes was saving "secret weapon" for a "real test" that the Texans will face this year.

We haven't seen it yet, but I am looking for the set with all of the TEs on the field.  Daniels (with an s) Dreessen, Grahm and FB/H back/Slot guy/everything back Casey on the field at once.  With this we have a confusing alignment for the Saints to deal with.  Even with all of those guys we keep AJ on the field.

Ready to Rock n Roll?  What do you think?

How would you try to defend this formation?
