Fantasy Football Open Thread - Week 3

Because it annoys me to no end to see fantasy football questions tossed into our actual content, here's a thread where you can ask your fantasy football questions.  If everybody works together (EVERYBODY LOVE EVERYBODY!), there'll be some answers, too.

Thank you for your support.

I can only assume this is for the same league I'm in

Where we’re all trying to decide between starting (for example) Early Doucet vs. John Kuhn because there are 20 teams. Hmmm. Daryl Washington or Paul Posluzny, who will get me that extra .2 of a point?

Actually, that team looks way too good for our league, so never mind.

(I’m kidding CB, I am enjoying the league so far, just still pissed that I missed the draft, which was obviously crucial.)

Glad to hear you're enjoying it.

I should post some league updates, sometime. I’m normally too self conscious though -I’m sure nobody else wants to hear about our little fantasies. Might be good for some sheet talking, however.

And thank you kindly for the advice, tSCK. bfd is my opponent this week. He promised answers! Bah, he’s lost major credibilty points with me. Or, perhaps I just wasn’t my usual, loveable, self?

Imma run with Drew Brees, Brandon Lloyd, AJ Green, Mike Williams, Roy Helu, and Montario Hardesty, on offense. My defense is James Harrison, Derrick Johnson, Paris Lenon, Shaun Phillips, Pays Haralson, and an open spot for now (Osi is out again this week). John Kasay is the ever valuable placekicker.

Blogger emeritus seems to be starting: Roethlisberger, Mike Thomas, Percy Harvin, James Jones, CJ2.3, and King Felix Jones, on offense. His D consists of DeMarcus Ware, Tamba Hali, Lamarr Woodley, Cameron Wake, Calvin Pace, and Curtis Lofton, with Jay Feely kicking. Ugh, this may be my best and only chance of winning.

Good luck bfd…

Not Trollin

I ran Ingram the first two weeks, didn’t fair well, so I plugged in Sproles this week but am not sold that he can perform against the Texans the way the Saints need him to. I am not replacing Brees with Stafford. He is an insurance move, he was still a FA after the second week (no one picked him up for some reason), so I snatched him up to A) keep from facing him, B) have him for my bye week, and C) Keep an eye on him for good and bad trends.

I have Sprole and started him the first two weeks and he performed

He’s the kind of guy that takes advantage of whatever is in front of him. He really just needs to touch the ball enough times and he’ll get his. I think he will touch the ball a lot against the Texans.

I didn't do anything wrong!.... and, I won't do it again.

I meant no harm.

I found the irony in a Saints fan (one with that lineup) asking Texans fans for advice, especially today. As ironic as me asking my fantasy adversary for advice…

Your lineup looks fine, though. I’m no authority to debate with a Saints fan on Saints players. Besides, Brees is consistent, and Staff has a tough matchup this week as well.

Sometimes

It is good to get an outsider looking in perspective. I probably should have ran Mathews instead of ingram.
