Since every team has to make their cuts by today, including the Texans, I thought it might be interesting to take a look at some of the players being cut that the Texans FO might take a stab at to fill out our own 53 man roster. Where do you think our needs are? Do we need another interior offensive lineman? Maybe a #5 WR? How do you feel about our LB depth? Here are a couple names I saw that might be interesting:

Mardy Gilyard (WR) - Cut by the Rams today who just have way too many WRs on the roster. I think he could be interesting as a slot option for us, This is only his second year and he has decent speed with a cheap contract.

Trey Lewis (DT) - Good size at 6'3" and 316 lbs, he was good against the run and is still young at 26. Could be decent depth.

Rennie Curran (LB) - A bit undersized linebacker, he nevertheless has excellent range and quickness, if he put on about 10 pounds he might be more promising depth at ILB than Dobbins.
