was this for the 'hit' where he pulled up and barley made contact?
I’d love to see the video

How much was Dunta fined for his cheap shot on Maclin?
Because if it was anywhere in the neighborhood of this, then the system is severely broken
$40k

Plus Cunta was being fined the $40k as a second time offender,
so I think Goodell is just following through and using a standard first time offender amount of $15k on Manning
I didn't do anything wrong!.... and, I won't do it again.
so he is not differentiating the severity of the hits
which I think is good and bad policy. It means he is not being subjective when comparing hits. But, by levying the fine, he is being subjective and saying it is a violent hit that is against the rules. So, overall, I rate Goodell’s response as bad. Simple as that.
I didn't do anything wrong!.... and, I won't do it again.
Here's the Hit
I can’t believe this costs $15K. This is just wrong.
I didn't do anything wrong!.... and, I won't do it again.
Looked more like shoulder to helmet to me.
I’m with you, Rip. I’m all for player safety, but these kinds of fines are fucking up my game. A lot of these “helmet to helmet” hits happen because ball carriers duck down just before getting hit, causing a shot that was aimed at the chest to become a head hit. It’s hard enough to play defense in the NFL these days, and now defenders can’t even attempt to break up a pass without there being a good chance of an incidental hit and hefty fine. Time for Goodell and his wussy brand of football to go.
Yep shoulder to helmet
And Graham was lowering his head (a natural reaction prior to getting hit)

Hell yes, he could.
I mean, I think they are probably wanting too much, considering his draft position and (theoretical) upside, but he would not have a problem playing any of the LB spots in this defense.

Here's an article that mentions how Curry would fit in a 3-4
Finally, I continue to believe Curry can be successful in the NFL. At 6-2, 254 pounds with long arms, he has the frame to consider moving inside. Curry’s biggest problem is his lack of instincts. Therefore, I do not believe he’d be successful in Seattle (or inside for any other 4-3 team). However, if protected by another inside linebacker in a 3-4 alignment, Curry could still do what he does best — create explosive collisions and chase down ball-carriers from behind.

I was wanting the Texans to pick him up in that draft. That would be cool with me fuck it give him a chance here see what happens.

Dobbins is non-existent in coverage
Maybe he could be a replacement

Dobbins dont get paid first round money though.
we would have to restruct a couple of other players contract.
yeah it's kinda risky
Cause he was a first round pick if it dosent work out we will look like dumb asses for making the gamble. But you never know he could be a beast in this system. It’s a roll of the dice

We have solid starters and decent depth at LB
If he was a DT I would say maybe but really he’s just another combine warrior who’s athletic ability doesn’t translate into a good football player.
Prediction: 11-5 AFC South champions.
yes we have solid starter but....
If one goes down we shit out of luck. I am to the point where i say go get lofa and curry. Lofa and Meco in middle Move Cushing back to outside. Curry could play other side move mario back to D-line. wishful thinking on my part huh.
yep
You can always use more LB depth on a 3-4 defence
Jules=Now I want you to go in that bag and find my wallet
Ringo=which one is it
Jules=the one that says bad mother fucker!
Yeah how do we afford them when we are up against the cap?
Cushing is the best interior blitzer on the team and a pretty good tackler so he’s best in the middle not outside and that’s why Wade moved him there. The problem isn’t the outside rush it’s the interior push. To much room for the QB to step up into neutralizing the outside rush.
Prediction: 11-5 AFC South champions.
you are right
I would most defiantly want us to sign a NT than LB at this point.

I was looking for a replay
Haven’t found it yet.
If I recall, Graham had already turned upfield, but I am not sure, so I could be mistaken.
It was one of those game changer calls. Funny, on the next play Quin gets blocked in the back on the next play which is why it was a TD run. That one didn’t get called though.
Mario Williams will have 4 sacks and 1 int by Game 4 of the regular season.
Officiating was incrdredibly shitty in that game.
Though we were helped by that a couple of times, IIRC.
