I can't imagine they'd declare him out for next week's opener in Houston already. Why not keep the Texans guessing?

Very happy

Kerry will be starting over Peyton. I know there are some fans who want to beat the Colts with Peyton, but I could not care less about style points. A win is a win and this makes that first W all but certain.

I agree

There will always be people that will make excuses and say, “See!! you only won because……ect”. As long as we win, there is nothing that won’t make me happy.

Completely agree.

Last I checked, the Rockets still have their trophies. You can only play who your opposition puts on the field.

I agree. I'll take the W no matter how we get it.

It’s Indy’s problem to put a competent QB on the field against us, not ours.

That still suggests a comfortable degree of certainty

While I’m suggesting that it’s not certain at all.

is it on?

What are they saying about manning?

by Da babyfacedassassin Meco on Sep 5, 2011 11:15 AM CDT via mobile reply actions

I'm convinced that...

there’s absolutely nothing wrong with Peyton, and this all a ploy to get everyone off guard.

I still think he's playing unless he doesn't make the flight to Houston or doesn't dress on Sunday.

Would the Texan's staff on audio have the balls to play this pregame and every time Collins got sacked?

We all should not be so happy to be playing a backup.

Manning out

Well I really wanted to see our dfence against a premier qb, but I guess we could use another preseason game. If manning was in bspn would onlu show the final score, and go on abt what the colts will need to do to make playoffs blah blah blah

by Hstntxns on Sep 5, 2011 12:27 PM CDT via mobile reply actions

Man, if Manning is somehow out for both games...

We’ll have less competent opposing QBs on our schedule than the average number of teeth on a Titans fan. Look at this slop: Collins/Orlovsky/Painter twice, Henne, Campbell, Hasselbeck/Locker/Rusty Smith twice, Garrard/Gabbert twice, Colt McCoy, Andy Dalton, Cam Newton, and I might even lump Flacco in there (seeing as he might have the worst pocket presence in the league).

I recall a fanpost a while back wondering if it was possible for us to get to 50 sacks this season. Before I looked at the schedule, I’d have said absolutely not. But now… It just might be possible.

by Nashmeister on Sep 5, 2011 1:22 PM CDT up reply actions

Orlovsky was released

but, point taken. I want to predict domination, too. I am afraid to really go all in, yet. I know I have talked a little shit, but that is really out of passion. What I really think is, yes, I like that lineup of QBs to go against, I like what I saw in preseason, but I want to see it for about 3 games in a row during the regular season and for a full 4 quarters per game, and then I will be jumping all over that.

I didn't do anything wrong!.... and, I won't do it again.

by Rip Jersey on Sep 5, 2011 1:27 PM CDT up reply actions

We don't catch the Colts again until the week of Christmas.

I can’t imagine him being out that long unless there is a seriuos problem.

Dammit. There you go with a reality check again.

That would suck, fer sure. But to win that to stay firmly in control of the division…hubba.

Colt McCoy didnt look bad in the preseason

Oh yeah and I got tickets to that game it will be my first time watching the Texans at Reliant.
