Good game, fellas.

You guys have nothing to be ashamed of. The Texans are one heck of a football team. Awesome play on Houston’s OL and DL made the game much, much closer than I expected, but ultimately, it boiled down to QB experience—just like many of us Ravens fans were predicting.

That was a big factor in this game—experience. The Ravens didn’t make any mistakes or turn the ball over while the Texans made several critical mistakes and had a few bad penalties.

Good luck in the off-season. We’ll be seeing you in the playoffs for years to come.

It is upsetting to know that they were so close.

I know TJ could have played better, but Jacoby really put this team in a hole early and they couldn’t get out. This Defense couldn’t have played better and still that wasn’t enough to make up for those early mistakes. Luck was on the side of the Ravens today, and it clearly played a major role in today’s game. These two teams were pretty evenly matched, and it showed. This was a great game. I still love this team and can not wait to start next season when our boys can prove once again that they can play with the big boys and win. Go Texans!

Under 90 yards..

We hold them to under 90 yards rushing, have nearly 100 more total offensive yards and all that there is to show for it is a loss. I don’t want to be angry, but TJ completely regressed before our eyes in this game.

TJ had too much on his plate

Not just all the pressure, but having to play behind due to that abysmal play by Jones… still, he needs several more years under Schaub and company before he can really become our franchize qb… he got some time in the frying pan this year, hopefully he learns and appreciates it, and humbly goes back to wearing the hat on the sideline next season, ever ready to come in again (only hopefully because we’re kicking the crap out of the opponents)

So, I was optimistic through the 3 losses at the end. I KNEW the Texans would come through and play hard in the playoffs.

After the Fuckstomping of the Bengals I just KNEW we would be in the AFC championship game. But, Jacoby threw us in a hole at the beginning and we couldn’t cover enough ground to make up for it. I hope they leave his sorry ass in Baltimore. T.J. did not play near what he is capable of. But he is a rookie and I figured that would be an issue.

by Kiratomi on Jan 15, 2012 3:34 PM CST reply actions

Yates should have been benched inregular season.

Yates sucks and I cannot believe Kubiak would not go with an experienced pro QB for the playoffs and the regular season. Houston’s points per game dropped in half once Yates took over. Thanks Kubiak for your hard headiness playing a QB no one would have ever drafted but you.
