Question for non-US fans (especially those in the Middle East)
Hey all,
I've lived in the Houston area my entire life, however there is a chance I might be moving myself, my wife, and our two young kids to Dubai some time this year. While this could be very stressful on my family, one of my main concerns is being able to watch the Texans win the Super Bowl next year.
So I have a few questions for those outside of the US. I assume NFL Gamepass is a forgone conclusion for me, but what other options are out there to watch Texans games either live, or on a tape delay? Also, how has the playoff broadcasts been? Did you have to completely avoid sports news until you were able to watch the game on delay?
I'm not relying on not-quite-legal streams because a) I'd rather watch the games on my TV and b) the UAE blocks so many websites that I'm not confident I'll be able to connect to the streams anyways.
Thanks for the help!

I’m not in the ME but Europe. I can usually watch via GamePass, or other online methods. However mini-dish (satellite) systems will often show NFL games but they may be limited to 2-3 games per weekend during the regular season. All playoff games are shown. Be aware of the time difference though. i’m 7 hours ahead of Houston so noon games start at 7pm and 3pm games start at 10pm. It can make it hard to get up on Monday.
If I can’t watch the game I can try to keep track of it with either NFL or ESPN website game cast. It sucks but better than nothing.
There are sites online where copies of played games can be downloaded. With something like a WD Live HD media player you can watch them on your TV.
Thanks.
I’ll have about a 9 hour difference from Houston and I’ve read several reports speculating that the Texans will have more 3:00 and prime time games next season. That’ll make for some rough Mondays, but totally worth it.
Thank you Texans for 2011.
The 2012 season can't start soon enough.
