"We definitely want to do it for the city. It’s extremely important for us. We know how long it’s been since the last time the city’s seen a playoff game. And as a pro athlete, I’m a guy that takes pride and I know all 53 guys in the locker room do, you want to be the best and you want to be playing in the playoffs. … We finally made it back and I think this expresses a lot about the character of our team and guys that want to move forward and want to be great."

It's so cool to see people who are relative newcomers to Houston
so excited for our town =) .

I like this Cushing quote.
Just be ready for Saturday and bring your best stuff because you’ll see the best game the Texans have played all year, and I can guarantee that … I haven’t been this excited about a football game maybe ever.
Who wants a Bengal skin rug?
Cause after Saturday, there will be 53 of them available to the public.
Madame de Staël once said, "One must choose in life between boredom and suffering." De Staël is dead but there is always an alternative.
This is where the cool is.
Cush had a great interview on NFL32 earlier today...
haven’t seen a link to a video yet though.

Another Cushing gem.
(on the proper way of tackling a high flipper like WR Jerome Simpson) "I don’t know. I guess just hit him while he’s trying to flip. Then, I don’t think he’ll be doing that anymore."
And another. lol
(on if he will bring up the fact that Bengals QB Andy Dalton is from Katy to try and get into his head) "No, no. I won’t mention that to him. He knows where he’s from, so I’ll leave it at that."
I've been hoping we don't have any misguided Katy-ites in the stands.

maybe his parents
but a) they should have seats in the upper deck end zone and b) the seats are too expensive for random Dalton fan to show up. Its either Bengals or Texans die hards.
TJ must throw 30 times for us to win.
Well, Unlike in Cincy
We cannot reserve and entire section for QB parents :)

we watch Texans games every night
and each time, my son asks, “Where are TJ Yates’ parents?”
TJ must throw 30 times for us to win.
Games every night?!? Here I thought the NFLPA had a problem with 18 game seasons.
I figured that if I said it enough, I would convince the world that I really was the greatest.

The Bridge of Khazad-dun
Much better than the Golden Gate. Although I do like the Bay Bridge. Way underrated bridge, that.

So awesome
words fail me.
I hope we dominate. We need to back up this excitement with a win. Then I think we have a legit shot in Baltimore.

I love the intensity that the entire Defense shows.

I just love the mentality of this team
When I’m looking at Cincinnati, I just get this vibe that they feel like they are fortunate to be in this position. The texans on the other hand want to do much more than just make it in.

exact same feeling i got.
i’ve been looking at vids from both teams and the Texans are really focused. they all believe that the season has just started and that they will be in the Super Bowl no matter what. Cincy on the other hand is more lowkey. they are gonna go out and out and put it all on the line and they believe that it should be enough to win the game. this is gonna be a great game to watch. i can see both of these team extremely beat up when they face baltimore.

Loves me some Brian Cushing (in a manly way of course)
But GOAT is equally stoked….check out his quote in this AM’s chron:
"I’ve got some slack I’ve got to make up," he said. "I’m not going to sit here and say that somebody is going to pay for it, but I’ll be playing at a high level — I can promise you that."
Oh man….’Dre’s gonna bring it. No doubt about it.
