With Quintin Demps lost to a broken forearm, the Texans bring back a familiar face.
That didn't take long. A day after the Texans announced that they'd be without Quintin Demps for an unknown (though not believed to be the remainder of the season) period of time, they have filled his roster spot. Per Mark Berman's Twitter account:
Sources: Texans have re-signed safety Troy Nolan.
Here's Berman's story on the signing.
Nolan's familiar with the scheme, was a surprise cut when the Texans made their final move to whittle the roster down to 53, and was recently handed his walking papers by the Dolphins, so this reunion makes all kind of sense. Discuss as you wish in the Comments.
