So, just know that I'm working on my Houston fan attitude... you guys who haven't been around since the 70's need to know...that I've been very hurt. I love my teams, but I am really very personally hurt by them. The Astros finally cured me by winning the pennant in '05 (I don't even care about winning the big one, just getting there). But football still rings of failure and let down. My way of handling it is to punish them by turning off the t.v. and complain. I know it isn't right, but 35 years of hoping/let down/excuses/there's always next year/despised around the nation year after year...has been painful. I'm working on it. So thanks for your replies. I am very surprised I didn't find anyone like myself, but maybe that says something...)
