Hello, i'm new to the community. Just wanted to get that out the way before i get down to buisness. Look, its awfully impressive that the texans are a 12 win ball club (and nine times out of ten none of us have played an nfl down to understand that) but at the same token,it is awfully disappointing to watch them self distruct at the backend of the season. Due to my extensive work on my dvr when i record the games (which i call "film"), i was able to properly put my finger on lingering issues that most of u know already and are the main reasons the texans are getting exposed worse than alex rodriquez off the roids. One, brooks reed and ,shaun cody,and connor barwin have absolutely disappeared this yr. Our corners are feeling the effect of that. Secondly, kubiak is so sold on establishing the run game, that the rest of his playbook is two sentences long. HE NEEDS TO EVOLVE WITH THE GAME: spread people out with multiple wideout sets (if we had the personell) and implement his run game. U know, the run game that wrked when briesel and winston was here (yeah, that one). Garys belief in his so called system made him watch those two walk. Anywho,why did we waste a 5th round pick on a kicker that in my opinion, wasnt even better than the current kicker we have, when other teams draft in the later rounds guys like justin tucker and the zuerline kid for st.louis who are bombing balls. If we could kick touchbacks, we have zero problems on special teams!!!!! Lastly, i believe that not taking a chance on peyton manning will haunt gary kubiak the rest of his coaching career. A 50 percent peyton manning is better than,a 100% matt shaub
