SBN: NFL Mock Draft (02/20/12)
While the approaching NFL Combine will likely result in changes to several draft boards, I'm sure a sizable portion of the Houston fan base would be just fine with things shaking out like this on April 26th.

I don't like the Poe pick
I would much rather have Fletcher Cox, but if the Texans pick Poe I would have to trust them and wait and see how he works out.
Honestly
That was a fucking awful mock draft…
Trent Richardson to SL? If they somehow got Cleveland to give up 2 first to them. They are taking Blackmon or Kalil. Doug Martin probably won’t go in the first either. Why would SanFran draft another 3rd down OLB?
It leaves far too many questions without giving any answers.
I’m not a fan
The 49ers may need another OLB
If they don’t resign Manny Lawson.
If the Browns decide they want a quarterback, which is the hot rumor, then they would have to trade their 2 1st rounders for RG3. I don’t get Richardson over Blackmon there, so I agree with you there.
Doug Martin could go first…..he’s got a lot of tools to be a 3-down back….he’s just gotta show some speed in Indy to get there.
"Lord, beer me strength."
but not a 1 down pass rusher OLB
also If the rams are really set with receiving two first for the number 2 who else is a big enough threat too justify not letting RG3 fall to 4, let alone moving up for him?
I agree with he fact that DM is the second best RB in the draft I feel like they could move back into the second/late first and pick him up. I think Jenkins could be had later than 17 as well.
Then again I’m just a football fan, I’m not a “Mock Drafter” so meh.
I'll take miller over DM
Maybe not as safe a pick, but after the combine he will be a hot commodity. Chris Johnson like

A draft that'd make me super happy would be
1st Fleener TE
2. Stephen Hill WR(unless his stock skyrockets after the combine, which i think it will, then take him in the first)
3. Nick Jean-Baptiste NoseTackle (fell in love with this guy watching Baylor)
4. Chris Molk C
5. Frank Alexander OLB
6 Kevin Reddick ILB
7.Antoine McClain OG
that’d be awesome IMO
Not sure big frank
Will play OLB. He’s about 285lbs, and should be in a 4-3. He’s not as athletically talented as Mario so making that switch I’m not so sure.

Ahhh, that 3rd round pick appears in a post that's in the rough draft stage.
Good eye!

I'm OK with Poe.
I’m more OK with all five of the players who directly follow our pick.
Heh, sizeable.
Saw what you did there.

If Reuben Randel is still available , its better to get him than Poe
but if not, I’m ok with Poe (though not particularly ecstatic)

Yes, please..
And thank you very much.
I would’ve also been good with Randle, Mercilus or Perry if the board fell this way, however unlikely that is. Still, Poe would be my preference as it stands.

Are we allowed to collectively dream about...
Watt – Poe – Ninja and the havoc they’d create?
/dreamy sigh/

Don't tempt me.
I’ve convinced myself to avoid any specific expectaions going into this draft. That stated, I do have a pretty serious case of NT Lust when it comes to Mr. Poe. Tryina keep that under wrap but, man, If the Texans somehow end up with this dude.. What dreams may come.
