Early Offseason Headlines
The Giants have won the Super Bowl. Now that football is over it's a perfect time to make-up some Off-season Headlines. This is my first fan post let me know if you like it.
Colts Put Peyton Out to Pasture
Colts release Peyton Manning and draft Andrew Luck. We have seen a future HOF QB comeback from a major injury with little success. Remember Joe Montana you know that legendary QB that spent 13 years with the 49ers. Then in 1994 he retired from Kansas City Chiefs. I sense a simillar situation here as the Colts are clearly a rebuilding team.
Peyton's Persuer:
Peyton will play for The New York Jets GM Mike Tannenbaum is known for taking risks{Plaxico & Santonio Holmes} I just see him making this type of splash during free agency. The Jets would make a deal in a New York minute. I don't think the Jets have faith in Sanchezise anymore.
>Skip Bayless' Tebowner Rages On
Skip Bayless is an exper dork who has a creepy obession with Tim Tebow. This Tebowner of Skip's will continue to infect Skips body until Tebow gets 'r' done or until Tebow wins the Super Bowl. We shall see when Skip's Tebowner ends. I'm still not sure what is worse Tim Tebow winning a Super Bowl or Mini Tebow's?

As a Colts fan,
Seeing Manning going to the Jets doesn’t make sense. Yes, there’s a chance he leaves but NY isn’t the place. He would be a lot closer to family but he would inherit a bad locker room. As a player, his best option may be the Dolphins. The Dolphins have a decent running game, a couple of nice WRs, a pretty strong defense compared to the Colts, their team have a playoff mentality of not quiting, and it’s some pretty good weather down here in FL.
Each year I hope the Warriors, Colts, Cavs, and the Magic get better yet the opposite happens.

IDK
Peyton will go to a big market, not a struggling market like Miami
True arrogance has been displayed here- WestministerRavensfan or something
Hi My name is Jack, why don't you help me off?
Do you really think he'd go to the Jets, though?
Peyton with Rex Ryan? I don’t see it.
San Francisco, maybe, but that’s another high profile, big personality coach; same thing in Washington.

I can see him to NY
because of the Rivalry with his Brother. I could also see him in Washington, anywhere he goes he will have huge implications with the offense.

Why?
If he wanted to go to a big market, he had ample opportunities in the past to do so.
If anything, I’d be surprised if he ended up in a major market like New York.

^^This.
The Chiefs would be perfect for him. Romeo is his kind of HC: a low-key, high-respect defense guy. Good weapons there on offense, too.
The Matt Cassel experiment appears to be over in KC. I think they would love to grab Peyton.

KC, where QB's go to retire?
I’m not sure why, but I had this idea in my head that Aikman briefly wound up there before retiring. Perhaps it was mentioned as a possibility at one point (as much a possibility as Manning coming to the Texans, perhaps, but one that I have heard anyway).

But really, where else? Miami? Ownership too crazy. Washington? Ditto.
NY Jets? Ridiculous. 49ers? Doubt he fits Harbaugh’s Big Plan. Seattle? No weapons. Any others?

It could be hard to pick Manning when a 1st rd qb still on his rookie sal would have to be cut.

If he comes back (not a sure thing by any means), Manning will go to Kansas City to play for Romeo Crennel. Miami’s ownership is too goofy and no way in hell he goes to the Jets’ zoo to play for Fatso.
We shall see when Skip’s Tebowner ends.
I won’t see because I won’t be watching. Bayless is an automatic channel changer for me.

More on Peyton & the Jets:
Manning probably hasn’t forgotten how that lard-assed foot fetishist Ryan crowed about beating him in the playoffs.
Jets? No way. Manning is class; remove the first to letters for what Ryan is.

I could see the Jets bringing in Manning only if they fire Rex Ryan

I tell you what will be weird.
Is if peyton ends up in Baltimore. He has never had a D like theirs.
2012 1st round draft pick is...............
i thought the same thing
that would be a scary team. they would to dump flacco though.

Not a chance in hell.
Baltimore is a conservative franchise like Houston/NYG/Pittsburgh. They don’t do big, crazy deals.

they usually don't but if it means winning one more before lewis and reed retire then it could happen.
it’s not as if they are bringing albert haynesworth in. manning is not a locker room distraction and they would finally have competent qb play, something they don’t get from flacco.

Assuming Manning comes back even as an average to good QB,

What, no talk of Manning to the Jags?

The skip bayless story was a classic example of filler{crap used to take up space}
We shall see on Peyton he’s 35 this year he maybe has two more years in the tank. I agree with you. That the Ravens would be a good fit if they did not have to play James Harrison and the Steelers twice a year. You put Manning in the AFC North and I may have to send him my wheelchair.
Help me! Jacoby Jones' "play" continues to haunt my dreams.
