At the time of this post, we didn't know exactly what the Eagles were giving up for DeMeco Ryans. Now, assuming Cap'n Meco passes his physical with Philadelphia, we do know what your Houston Texans will get for trading #59 to the Eagles.
Seems our beloved Texans are getting a fourth-round pick and a swap of third-rounders (Houston gets the 77th overall pick, and Philly gets the 89th overall pick) in exchange for their all-time leader in tackles.
Given DeMeco's contract, the Achilles injury that cost him most of the 2010 season, and the effect of that injury on his play in 2011, I doubt the Texans were ever going to get a better deal.
