As most have you have probably noticed, nobody around here seems to agree on...well...anything. Whether it's what position is most important in round one or if Stephen Hill is the Starscream to Detroit's Megatron, everyone has an opinion. As a result, I'm starting this thread to see if we can create a concrete, numerically accurate reading of the average BRB'ers feelings. After the jump is a list of realistically attainable players numbered from 100 all the way down to 1 (in no particular order yet). It contains all of the names thrown around on this site, both common and uncommon. Ideally, every single possibility for Houston in the first four rounds (the rounds in which there is the most contention) is listed here.Admittedly, there are inevitably a few names that could not be included on the list because, quite frankly, there are always hundreds more prospects than available draft slots and I didn't want people to rank over 300 different people. If someone is not on the list and enough people want them included, I will.
As a Texans fan, your job is to rank these players, with 100 being the player you think would benefit Houston the most as our first pick all the way down to 1, which is the player you feel like carries the least amount of benefit. How your rate that benefit is up to you, whether it be raw talent, system fit, positional need, or a combination of all three. If they are more valuable to the Texans, they get a higher number. I will compile the submitted scores from everyone who fills out a complete list (it must be complete for this to be reliable mathematically), and the sum of their rankings will be the score for each player. The more high scores given to a player, the higher their overall average ranking will be. From that, we get an accurate reading of who BRB as a community truly values. With this value chart, we might be finally able to settle some arguments...or at the very least give people something else to yell at each other over.
So, without further a due, the list.
