This idea has been bouncing around in my head since the releasing began earlier this week. There are a few irons left in the fire within the Texans franchise (Myers, Mario, Rackers, etc.), but I've been thoroughly intrigued by some of the names that have been let go. I would be interested to see the price tag for players like Clark (TE, IND), Brackett (LB, IND), Jacobs (RB, NYG),Trufant (CB, SEA), etc..

One would think, for a team structured to peak and decline within 5 years, that adding cheaper veterans could better transition the team to be more effective, efficient, and sucessful over a longer period of time without putting too much stock into any given player or position.

I'm interested to see how things continue to develop...thoughts?
