Fellow BRBs, although I am a big Texan fan (now) I was brought up on a distant land and with significant influence of Rugby. Coming in to the states the NFL always seemed like a bit of a made-for-tv game (with constant stops and starts, 2 teams playing for the same team ie defense and offense, all sorts of protective gear etc etc). But over time I have come to admire the NFL for what it is, a strategical chess game as much as a bruising physical battle (compared to the free flow of rugby the NFL is a chess game of epic proportions.)
So long story short, Jonah Lomu was my all time favorite rugby player. The big "all black" (= new zealander) played winger (which is similar to WR in the NFL). But this was a huge guy a 6'6" 280lb guy who had legit speed, he ran a 10.8 100 meter dash (which turns out to 3.9 over 40 yards, but with the shorter distance of the 40 yard he could have been 4.6-4.7 if he did a pure 40.) And as a winger he had good hands and great running ability and the ability to juke people.
Look at the videos here, he basically either out accelerated defenders or ran over them (his one on one defenders were much smaller guys).
If Jonah Lomu came to the Texans, where would you play him?
WR? TE? RB? or maybe you want to play him in the defensive side of the ball?
