Blaine Gabbert thinks Brian Cushing should take all the time he needs to rest that knee. If it takes 9 more seasons to heal, so be it.
Meant to post about this yesterday; time got away from me. Nonetheless, this qualifies as news, particularly since (1) it's June and (2) it concerns one of the players on the Texans' roster who would be exceedingly difficult, if not close to impossible, to replace.
“No, just his knee got sore on him; and I’m going to err on that side this time of year, so we sent him down for an MRI,” Houston coach Gary Kubiak said, via comments distributed by the team. ”He did come out and watch practice, and it gives some other guys a chance to get some reps.”
