Texans Training Camp: Important Dates

Stay connected for news and updates

Soon, that will be David Garrard, Matt Moore, or Ryan Tannehill.

Because I've been asked a couple of times about it, and because I am nothing if at your service, I wanted to make sure we had a post spelling out when your Houston Texans would start training camp. From our friends at NFL Communications, we have learned that rookies will report to Methodist Training Center (a/k/a "That Field and Bubble Next to Reliant Stadium") on July 22nd. Veterans are due to report by July 27th.

That's all well and good, you say. But when will the Texans make those precious free tickets to select training camp sessions available to the fan base?

I don't know. I haven't seen any announcements or received any e-mails about it yet. If the team follows precedent, you can expect six (6) sessions to be open to the public, with a limited amount of tickets available--first come, first serve--via the team's official site. As soon as we get word as to when the tickets will be made available, we'll have a post here. If you've got any information about it, kindly share it in the Comments.
