Howdy fellow football fanatics! I know this is the fourth game in preseason and means about as much as a dogs fart, but it is always interesting to me to see the guys riding the edge try to prove themselves. These guys may not be the superstars we set our hopes on but for one night no one will play harder. I'm here to ask and answer questions so that we can make this great game even more interesting.
Seriously though I can't see you guys not make the play offs this year, do you think this is the one? Do you see yourselves making that strong Super Bowl push? If not what do you think will be holding you back? How are your draft picks working out for you? Since I'm sure I won't be seeing anyone on the field that I actually know who should I be watching for to make some plays? Who's the big camp surprise?
On our side of the ball I don't think you'll be seeing Ponder out there but you will be seeing Webb who is if nothing else extremely exciting to watch. I would say he'll have about 100 yards rushing in the game Friday. Mike Assiata at running back is making a bit of a name for himself but a lot of people really want Todman to step up and pull out the third string running back. Our receivers are a dumpster fire and playing without Harvin is the reason you'll be seeing Webb run so much. On defense our secondary is going to make Yates look like an all star. We improved quite a bit in that area but our back ups are truly awful. Defensive line you'll see Reed and Griffen on the ends. Both of them are rough pass rushers and I honestly think Griffen would start on most teams that didn't have an Allen Robison combo package.
So to sum it up, it should be a mindless bit of fun and I hope to God no one gets injured. Oh last thing, what do you all think your record will be this year, and are you terrified to meet us in season?! :D
(I think our record will be 6-10, but I've been called a pessimist...)
