Houston Texans Injury Report: WR LeStar Jean To Miss Sunday's Game Versus Tennessee

Get up and get it, LeStar.

Well, the star is out. No, no, I am not referring to New York Jets cornerback Darrelle Revis and his season-ending torn ACL. I mean Houston Texans wide receiver LeStar Jean and his "meniscus issue."

Hit the jump for more information on Jean's meniscus.

Head coach, and winner, Gary Kubiak announced that Jean, long a camp star who had a big 46-yard reception in Sunday’s victory over the Denver Broncos, will have a scope on Tuesday to correct this "meniscus issue." No timetable was given for his recovery, but Jean will definitely miss this week’s game against the Tennessee Titans. DeVier Posey, the third-round rookie out of Ohio State, will step in to fill the void in the meantime. Posey will likely see snaps as a fourth wide receiver and on special teams.

Other injury updates coming out of the Denver game:

- Safety Quintin Demps had minor thumb surgery but is expected to play on Sunday, with a cast, in his usual spot role. Of course, everyone will remember the last time someone in the secondary played against Tennessee with a cast. Where is Rusty Smith when you need him?

- Quarterback Matt Schaub
went through all of his normal drills on Monday. He is fine and good to go for Sunday.

- This is my kind of injury report.
