Hello Texans fans!

I admit that it is hard to write this post, knowing that your team is a legitimate contender and my team… may benefit form an easy schedule if we are lucky. Considering we have still never beaten you guys, it was tempting to hide my head in the sand. BUT, gosh darnit!! (that was self-edited from something truly obscene) I love the game of football and love me some Miami Dolphins and have for decades. I am addicted and I will always root for them to win!!!

So, that being said, this is the post where you get to ask phins fans about our favorite team. We, hopefully, have insight into our team that you won’t get from the national media which is more interested in Tim Tebow than football. Hopefully, some of our more informed fans will show up. I am not a novice, but far from an expert, especially with the technical side of the game. Still, I think these posts are fun when conducted with civility and mutual respect.

One caveat is that I honestly believe we don’t know the identity of our team yet. We have a totally new HC (who reminds me of Larry David and loves George Costanza… I am not lying), coaching staff, and a rookie QB that you guys in Houston probably know more about than we do. Still, the highly edited HBO show Hard Knocks might give us some insight. We also still have Jeff Ireland, target of fan frustration.

Things to know:

<!--[if !supportLists]-->1) <!--[endif]-->We got rid of Brandon Marshall and replaced him with… no one. Our WR corps is questionable at best right now. It could be someone steps up, but with a rookie throwing, we are all worried.

<!--[if !supportLists]-->2) <!--[endif]-->We have very little depth at OL, also not a good sign for a rookie QB. Jake Long may also not be playing at 100%

<!--[if !supportLists]-->3) <!--[endif]-->We have a new rookie DC. Mike Nolan turned our squad into something respectable in the past, but he is gone.

<!--[if !supportLists]-->4) <!--[endif]-->We are worried about our CB depth. We literally do not have enough CBs and can’t claim that the ones we have are that good. I like Sean Smith, but outside of him…

<!--[if !supportLists]-->5) <!--[endif]-->I think our RBs are pretty solid. Reggie Bush can actually play and is a locker room leader. He is completely different from what you would expect from a Kardashian humping spoiled 1st rounder.
