Draft Terrence Williams

Many Texans fans can agree, we need a wide out. Not implying that we don't have one already. We have a great receiver but Johnson may be getting tired of triple coverage every time he steps on the field. I understand that there are a lot of great wide receivers in this years draft, and I feel its vital we draft a good one who is complementary to Johnson. We can draft a receiver or continue Watt's pro bowl receiver career. Seems like a tough choice, but I vote draft. I think we need to look no father in the draft than Baylor's Terrence Williams. He's a machine. He led the NCAA with 1832 yards and had a solid 12 touch downs. He also has averaged 7 yards per carry when he rushed. Doesn't matter that he only rushed twice, don't think about that just think about the versatile athlete that is Terrence Williams. So let me make my case, it will be short and sweet but hopefully powerful.

1. He is fast. Fast is a understatement. I watched all of his games at Baylor. Half of the plays that Briles probably consisted of this statement "Hey Terrence just run strait, when you get past the corner; run past the safety and catch the ball". He is fast, burning almost any defensive player attempting to catch him and then doing what he does best catching the ball over the shoulder at full speed an continuing into the end zone. His speed is also explosive. If a corner turns around for a second they are gonna find Number Two 20 yards down the field waving for the ball. He is all different types of fast.

2. Not only is he faster than any other mammal, he is physical. If he catches the ball and a defender is not already latched on to his back, he will gain yardage. He can power through corners and speed past safeties. He is 6'2 and 207, not as big as Andre but big enough and faster. He will get a lot of yards after the catch. Period.

3. He can function well with any QB. He played great with RG3 at Baylor but even better with the less noted but vastly underrated Nick Florence (Speaking of that some Texan fans think we need a new QB; I hear Nick Florence is in the draft hint hint). Simply stated he is intelligent and can adapt to any offense.

There are many other great things I could say about Williams, but I truly believe this Dallas native could become a great future Texan. I think Williams could be the spark that could turn the Texans offense into a explosive well rounded powerhouse. Give me your thoughts and or criticisms.
