If you play ILB for the Houston Texans, you WILL be placed on injured reserve. It's science. Tim Dobbins is simply the latest proof.
On the eve of the Texans' playoff opener against the Bengals, Nick Scurfield tweets:
#Texans have placed ILB Tim Dobbins (ankle) on IR & signed rookie ILB Cameron Collins (Oregon St) from their practice squad

Tim Dobbins is the 2nd #Texans ILB to go on IR this week (Darryl Sharpton). Barrett Ruud likely starts next to Bradie James on Saturday

Tim Dobbins becomes the latest to fall victim to what I just now decided will be called "The Curse of Texans Inside Linebackers." Now the Bengals get to face an inside linebacking tandem of Bradie James and Barrett Ruud tomorrow.
If you need me, I'll be in my trailer.
