JJ Watt: Action > Words...No Questions, Just Action

Snp-jj-306x203

“Kansas City has been playing some very good football this year. Obviously this is a huge opportunity for us to go up on the road in a tough environment against a very good football team who’s obviously undefeated in the AFC, get ourselves some momentum heading into the bye week, get ourselves back on track. And we’re looking to do that. Their quarterback’s been playing really well. Obviously the coaching staff’s done a heck of a job. Hear nothing but good things about the environment. But for us, from our standpoint, our fans don’t’ want to hear about how we’re going to fix it. They don’t want to hear me stand up here and tell them anything. They don’t want to hear the words I have to say, they just want to see results. I fully understand that. All I can do is go to work. All we can do as a team is go to work. That’s what we’re going to do. Words don’t win games, work does. I’ll be on the practice field working. Watching the film, working. That’s all I can do, that’s all we can do as a team. Apologize for the concise statement and the lack of answering questions but that’s all I can do. Honestly. I don’t have words for y’all. Just work. I’m just going to work. Like I said, fans want results. That’s what I’m going to try to give them. Hopefully I answer all your questions with my play on the field. If there’s any further questions I’ll see y’all Sunday after the game.” From the Mothership: http://www.houstontexans.com/tv-media/videos/Watt-Work-not-words/a79eab90-2e4c-40e7-a2d4-b411986ace14
