BRB Open Thread: College Football (10/26/13)

Scott Olmos-USA TODAY Sports

Talk about the day's college football games in Battle Red Blog's Saturday open thread.

If you had told me that a two-loss Texas team would be my refuge from games on Sunday, I might have died of alcohol poisoning before the season had even started. Moving on from Texas, this week spotlights another quarterback that might be wearing steel blue and battle red next season. Marcus Mariota hopes to stay on top of the Heisman race as he takes on UCLA. The other game I would like to highlight is Texas Tech heading north to Norman to face Oklahoma. We will find out what Kliff Kingsbury's team is made of as they tangle with a Sooner squad coming off an embarrassing loss to Texas and a poor start against Kansas.
