Battle Red Blazin' Hot NFL Picks: Week 15 - (11 losses) x (2 streaks) = Futility

Dan "Judas" Orlovsky beat his former team as a member of the Indianapolis Colts. Just another chapter in the long, sad history of the Texans playing at Lucas Oil Stadium. - Jim Rogash

Another week in the books, and another week closer to endless free agency rumors and draft speculation. Battle Red Blog continues its weekly series of picks, losing streak be damned. Brought to you by Buffalo Wild Wings.

Your Houston Texans are entering Week 15 with two different 11 game losing streaks looming over their heads. We're living in the first one, of course. We're chin-deep in the worst losing streak in the team's short history. The second one is the god-awful losing streak to the Colts in Indianapolis that has aged to imperfection for 11 years running.

Sunday is their chance to break both streaks, but we all know that's not going to happen. The Texans even lost to a team headed by Dan Orlovsky at Indy. Expect another loss.

Did I jinx us enough to pull out a win?

Eggshellman just won't crack and posted another fine week atop of our leader board. If I do this again next year, we'll definitely be adding Confidence Points to the mix.

Onward to the picks! Spread is added but not used in making picks.

San Diego Chargers @ Denver Broncos (-10.5)

Washington Redskins @ Atlanta Falcons (-6.5)

Upset alert! For all you Kirk Cousins fans, watch him tear up the hapless Falcons as he auditions for a trade to a less dysfunctional team.

Chicago Bears @ Cleveland Browns (-1)

Houston Texans @ Indianapolis Colts (-5.5)

11 game losing streak turns to 12 on two different fronts. A dozen years makes for a fine scotch, so hopefully it'll be worthwhile next year.

New England Patriots @ Miami Dolphins (+2.5)

Philadelphia Eagles @ Minnesota Vikings (+4.5)

Seattle Seahawks @ New York Giants (+7)

San Francisco 49ers @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers (+5.5)

Buffalo Bills @ Jacksonville Jaguars (+2)

Kansas City Chiefs @ Oakland Raiders (+4.5)

New York Jets @ Carolina Panthers (-11)

Green Bay Packers @ Dallas Cowboys (0)

Aaron Rodgers might be back, but the Cowboys are abysmal defensively regardless.

Arizona Cardinals @ Tennessee Titans (+2.5)

New Orleans Saints @ St. Louis Rams (+6)

Cincinnati Bengals @ Pittsburgh Steelers (+3)

Baltimore Ravens @ Detroit Lions (-6)

That'll do it for this week. Just three more weeks left of the season! I'll probably keep this going for the playoffs, too. Be sure to make your picks and enjoy the games this weekend.
